The friendship between the Israel labor movement and American labor unions was emphasized today by speakers addressing a ceremony marking the conclusion of the second term of a trade school established by the International Ladies Garment Workers Union at Kiriat Haim, near Haifa.
Each of the graduating students received a present of a micrometer from David Dubinsky, president of the I.L.G.W.U. The gift was made by Israel Meriminsky, head of the trade school department of the Israel Federation of Labor. The I.L.G.W.U. trade school, which has been in existence for five years, is considered one of the best in Israel.
