It is more difficult for Jews than for non-Jews to obtain professional positions in colleges and universities, according to a study of the field of education by Dr. Joseph Zubin, one of a series on “Choosing a Life Work” issued by the Commission on Jewish Education of the Union of American Hebrew Congregations. The basis of discrimination against Jews, Dr. Zubin states, is tradition — the fact that the colleges of this country grew up under denominational auspices.

CORRECTION: In Prague story on page 1 of JTA NEWS of April 28, entire line was dropped out of first paragraph in typing. It should have read as follows: Director Richter of the Reichs Kommissariat for the Sudeten districts charged today that many Jewish industrialists who had left the Sudeten territory for Czechoslovakia last September had carried away raw materials, machinery parts and account books.
