Trail of Two Alleged Israeli ‘plotters’ Set by Switzerland for June 10

Josef Ben-Gal, an Israeli, and Dr. Otto Jukelik, Austrian scientist, both accused of having threatened the family of a German scientist at work on the Egyptian program for development of nonconventional weapons for use against Israel, will go on trial here on Jane 10, Swiss authorities announced today.

They were arrested as “Israeli plotters” two months ago for allegedly threatening Miss Heidi Goerke. daughter of Prof. Goerke, in an alleged effort to persuade the latter to quit the Egyptian weapons work. The woman and her father are in Cairo now.

According to officials here, the crime of which the two men are accused carries a penalty, upon conviction, of three years’ imprisonment.
