A plan to establish a training school for teachers of nursery schools, kindergartens and elementary schools in the Cape Province’s Hebrew school system, was announced here today by the Cape Board of Jewish Education. The course for elementary school teachers will be three years, while nursery school and kindergarten teachers will be trained in two years. Three years after graduation from the training school, all Jewish teachers will be given a six-month leave in Israel at the Board’s expense.
