Trans-atlantic Shipping Line to Be Established by Turkey and Israel

Establishment of a new Turco-Israeli trans-Atlantic shipping line, which may start operations this summer, is under consideration by Turkish and Israeli shipping lines, according to an announcement here today.

According to the proposal, the joint company would operate Turkish ships running from Istanbul to Haifa, and Israeli vessels from Haifa to New York. At present.
