Arab merchants in Transjordan have offered to sell 5,000 top hats to Palestinian Jews who plan to attend the World Zionist Congress.
The hats are part of a shipment of American goods including automobiles, cosmetics and nylon stockings. The Arab merchants report that some of the headgear has been purchased by camel drivers who prefer them to the native Kuffiehs.
