A transport of 388 Jewish immigrants from Bulgaria arrived here today aboard the Rumanian steamship Transylvania.

The master of the Enzo Sereni, which brought 900 visaless immigrants into Palestine on Jan. 20, was acquitted today of violating the new defense regulations, when it was shown that the vessel was brought into Palestinian waters by a British destroyer and did not enter voluntarily. Police arrested the captain as an illegal immigrant, following the court’s ruling.
