Four trucks loaded with tools purchased by the Ort from the Canadian War Surplus for distribution among displaced Jews through the UNRRA arrived here today. The announcement that the Ort is starting work in the camps for displaced persons received a hearty welcome among the Jews.
Vladimir Grossman, executive secretary of the Canadian Ort organization, who arrived here to establish Ort workshops in the camps for displaced persons, conferred with UNRRA officials and arranged for admission into the U.S. zone of Ort instructors, who will direct the work in the shops.
