M. Titulescu, the Roumanian Foreign Minister, believes that Roumania’s defeat in the Hungarian Optants question before the League of Nations was largely due to the feeling caused by the recent disorders in Transylvania. This was stated by M. Madgearu, one of the leaders of the National Peasants’ Party, at a meeting of the Party leaders held here.
