The well-known Austrian priest and university professor, Dr.Ude, has published in the Grazer Volksblatt a sensational protest against the treatment of the Austrian Jews, according to reports from Vienna.
“We not only do not benefit the German people, but load ourselves with heavy guilt if we remain silent in the face of such unjust action, taken here and there against the Jews, or even approve it with heartless laughter,” Professor Ude was quoted as stating.
“We Germans must be mindful of the sentence, ‘Do not to others what you would not have done to yourselves.’ Precisely in these days we must urge the strictest justice; those acting otherwise dishonor the German name and harm the people.”
