The trial of Joseph Ben-Gal, the alleged Israeli agent charged with having threatened the daughter of a German scientist working on the Egyptian program for the development of non-conventional weapons, is scheduled to begin here tomorrow. Under arrest since March 2, Ben-Gal was released on bail last month.
Before Ben-Gal was released on bail, the Bonn authorities had requested his extradition to West Germany, but the request was turned down by the Swiss Government. Professor Otto Jukelik, an Austrian scientist arrested with Ben-Gal on the same charge, is still in jail.
