THE OFFICIAL GAZETTE ANNOUNCED TODAY THAT THE WAQF (RELIGIOUS ESTATES COMMITTEE) WAS HENCEFORTH TO BE ADMINISTERED BY A TRIUMVIRATE COMPRISING JUSTICE GREEN, GALILEE DISTRICT COMMISSIONER ALEC SEATH KIRKBRIDE AND SHEIKH HUSSAM JARRALLAH. THE TRIUMVIRATE REPLACES HAJ AMIN EL HUSSEINI, WHO WAS DEPOSED BOTH AS PRESIDENT OF THE MOSLEM SUPREME COUNCIL AND CHAIRMAN OF THE WAQF.
