The Russian monarchist daily, ‘Sevodnia,” published here, which first carried reports on April 1, later denied by the Soviet Government, that Leon Trotzky had been wounded in his exile, today insists that the report was accurate.
The newspaper declares that it is informed by recent arrivals from Moscow that Trotzky was fatally wounded by a seventeen year old member of the Comsomol, Communist Youth Organization, in Vierny, Trozky’s abode in exile. The youth is said to have surrendered to the police.
The opinion prevails in Moscow, the recent arrivals declare, that Trotzsky’s death is being denied by the Soviet authorities for political reasons.
