President Truman conferred today with Henry F. Grady, Goldthwaite H. Dorr and Herbert E. Gaston, the alternates on the Cabinet Committee on Palestine to the Secretaries of State, War and Treasury, before their departure tomorrow noon by plane for London for high level discussions on Palestine with the British Cabinet Committee.
Speaking for the three alternates, Mr. Grady said they would discuss the entire report of the Anglo-American inquiry committee with British officials. He expressed hope for quick action within two or three weeks. The trio talked with President Truman about some of the problems they expect to arise in the discussions, Mr. Grady said.
