Former President Harry S. Truman received today the 1956 “America-Israel Friendship Award” of the Mizrachi Women’s Organization of America which is given to an American, not of the Jewish faith, who has contributed to the fostering of friendship between the peoples of the U.S. and Israel. The presentation was made by Mrs. S. Deborah Ebin, president of the organization, at a ceremony in Mr. Truman’s office.
