A post-war Europe wherein “the legal situation of the day before the occupation” would be restored and a trustee management office established to administer Nazi-confiscated property until its pre-war owners could be determined, was proposed yesterday at the conclusion of a series of Pan-European conferences at the New York University Faculty Club.
The discussion of the proposed trustee management system was led by Paul F. de Marxov, a Dane who is president of the Induag Corporation for Industrial Developments, a Swiss concern which stimulated development of industrial plants in various parts of Europe and exported the necessary machinery. Mr. Marxov said organization of post-war trusteeships was necessary now so they might function immediately upon liberation of occupied countries.
