Jews of Tucson were reminded today that, under Arizona election laws, they can use absentee ballots in the 1964 county primary election, which coincides with the second day of Rosh Hashanah.

The reminder was issued by Rabbi Marcus Breger. He noted that the law provides that any voter, who, “on account of the tenets of his religion, cannot attend the polls on the day of a general, primary or special election, is deemed to be absent from the county” and may use an absentee ballot.
