Israel and Turkey today signed a $30,000,000 trade agreement for 1962, representing a $5,000,000 increase over the amount of the 1961 pact. The agreement, calling for $15,300,000 worth of Israeli exports, marks the first time that the annual accord had been negotiated and signed in Jerusalem
The export figure may be increased by some $2,000,000 if the United States agrees to waive the regulation restricting expenditures of U.S. aid funds to Turkey to purchases of American products.
