Solel Boneh, construction firm owned by the Israel Federation of Labor, today was granted a contract for a 7,000,000-lira ($700,000) highway connecting one of this city’s suburbs to the city. Solel Boneh is now completing work on another highway project here, involving a cost of 2,000,000 liras ($220,000).
Friendly relations between Israel and Turkey were emphasized further with the arrival here today, for a private visit, of a group of 68 Israelis, including prominent Moslem and Christian Arabs from Israel. Members of the group met, upon their arrival, with municipal officials of this city and of Izmir.
