Turkey’s Court of Appeals has returned to Israel three fishing craft seized off the Turkish coast last year on charges of having violated Turkish territorial waters, it was learned here today. The vessels were originally awarded to the Turkish Government in a decision of a lower court.
The kibbutzim which own the vessels have decided to resume fishing in the Mediterranean Sea off Turkey from which they were scared away by the seizures nine months ago. They have also decided to resume marketing their catch from these waters in Cyprus.
