Three Turkish firms have signed a new contract with the Nesher Company of Haifa, Israel, calling for the export of 74,000 tons of cement from Israel to this country. The cement will be purchased within the framework of its Israel-Turkish trade pact. A considerable quantity of Israel cement has been ordered for the construction of NATO airfields in this country.
Turkey is also reported to have imported from Israel recently sizable quantities of radios, paints and tires against exports of leather, fish, tobacco and dried fruits. An Israeli trade delegation is expected here to negotiate purchase of large quantities of wheat from Turkey.
