The Turkish flag was hoisted here yesterday during a procession in connection with the strike called by the Arab leaders to celebrate the success of the recent Arab boycott of the Legislative Council elections.
The arrival here on the day called for this strike of Mousa Kazim Pasha, chief of the Arab Delegation in London, gave the celebration added stimulus. Arab students and boy scouts carried aloft only Arab Turkish banners. The celebration grew disorderly and British troops quickly dispersed the parade, but not before several Arabs were wounded, as well as a few native policemen. Six ring leaders have been taken into custody.
Outside Jerusalem there was no response to the strike call, say reports from all sections of the country.
