Turkish Foreign Minister Necmeddin Sadak said here this week that relations between Israel and Turkey are satisfactory and expresses the belief that relations between the two nations will develop even more in the immediate future following the exchange of diplomatic representatives.

Political circles in Turkey maintain that Turkish officials — for the sake of achieving peace and security in the Middle East — hope that the Jewish state will make additional concessions in the issue of Arab refugees and that it will reconsider suggestions regarding the future status of Jerusalem.
