Twenty North American Jewish community centers will test a new Jewish ethics curriculum for nursery school students this fall. Based on the teachings of Pirkei Avot, or Ethics of the Fathers, the multimedia curriculum aims to deepen the Jewish content of early childhood education, an area that suffers from lack of funding and a shortage of teachers.
