The 1955 Stoliar literary prizes for the two best books of the year were awarded here today to Baruch Hager for his book “Malchut Hassidut” and Beirish Weinstein for his “America.” The awards were established to commemorate the name of Mordecai Stoliar, late founder and editor of the Yiddishe Zeitung, largest Jewish daily newspaper in Latin America.
