More than 1,000 congregational and community leaders from 250 cities in the United States and Canada will participate in a special two-day Convocation of Reform Judaism which starts here tomorrow.
The convocation will be marked by the dedication of the House of Living Judaism, new national headquarters of the Union of American of American Hebrew Congregations. The seven-story building which will become the center of Reform Judaism in the United States and Canada, was erected with funds contributed by the late A.A. Berg and raised by Reform organizations.
During the convocation, the Union of American Hebrew Congregations will hold sessions of its executive board. The Board of Governors of the new Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion, the executive of the Central Conference of American Rabbis, and a number of other bodies connected with the Reform Judaism movement will also hold heir meetings, The National Federation of Temple Brother hoods will open its 14th biennial convention on Sunday, following the dedication program.
