Two Frenchmen were convicted last Friday for writing anti-Semitic comments in a visitors book in a former concentration camp. Prosecutors had sought jail time for Stephane Bizot, 32, and Jerome Laurent, 23, but the two were only fined for their actions. The two men, who visited the Nazi-era Struthof concentration camp in September, were charged under a new law against racist and anti-Semitic acts.
