Friedrich Chwatal, an attorney, and Ernst Heller, a public school teacher, were arrested today while engaged in distributing leaflets calling for a boycott of Jewish firms, Jewish doctors and Jewish lawyers.
A police search of their homes revealed a huge stock of leaflets of the same type, calling upon the people of Czechoslovakia to begin an anti-Jewish boycott campaign on September 15. The leaflets were signed by the German League to Combat the Jews.
The two men will be tried by a Prague court for attempting to disturb public order.
