Two Israeli lawmakers filed a petition protesting the decision to drop a bribery case against Ariel Sharon. “Corruption in the country is more of a threat than the Arabs,” Yossi Sarid of the liberal Meretz Party told reporters Sunday after filing a High Court petition against the decision by Attorney General Menachem Mazuz to drop the case against the prime minister.
