Two Israeli Mossad agents denied the spying charges brought against them as their trial began in Cyprus. The two were in possession of listening devices when they were arrested several months ago at a fishing village near the site of a Cypriot military installation. The incident marred relations between Cyprus and Israel, which has repeatedly said the two were not spying on the Mediterranean island nation.
