Two Israeli right-wing extremists, Avigdor Eskin and Damien Pakovitch, were charged with planning to throw a pig’s head onto the Al-Aksa Mosque on the Temple Mount during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, to provoke clashes between Arabs and Jews. The men, arrested last month, were charged in Jerusalem District Court with sedition and conspiracy to desecrate a holy place and offend religious feelings.
