Two Israelis sentenced this week to three years’ imprisonment will not be released early, the president of Cyprus said. Glafcos Clerides also ruled out sending them to Israel to serve out their sentences there. A Cyprus court imposed the sentences after dropping spy charges against the two in exchange for their admitting to lesser charges.
