The merger of two Jewish child-welfare agencies-the Jewish Child Care Association of New York and the Jewish Youth Services of Brooklyn-was announced here today in a joint statement issued by Irving Mitchell Felt, president of the Association and Harry Rothman, president of the Brooklyn agency.

As a result of the merger, 125 foster homes in Brooklyn will be added to the Association’s 350 homes. The Association also maintains the Pleasantville Cottage School in Westchester and the Edenwald School in the Bronx. The merged agencies will operate as the Jewish Child Care Association of New York.
