Two Jews Are Successful in Montreal Elections

Two of the four Jewish candidates who ran in the municipal elections here were elected.

Louis Rubenstein was elected by acclamation for a third term. Alderman Joseph Schubert, Labor candidate, who was elected two years ago by a majority of 50 votes was re-elected yesterday by a majority of 550. The other two, B. Schwartz and J. Levine, lost by a small number of votes.
