The possibility that the Armed Services Committee and the Judiciary Committee of the Senate may soon join the Senate Investigating Committee in its inquiry into the commutation of the life sentence of Ilse Koch, wife of the former commandant of the Buchenwald concentration camp who was charged with making lampshades of human skin, was indicated here today.

Meanwhile, Army Secretary Kenneth C. Royall has issued an order prohibiting all Army officers connected with the Koch case from discussing it with the press. This was done, the Army Department explained, out of respect for the Senate Investigating Committee, which should hear the case first.
