Two of Chicago’s leading Jewish women’s organizations chose new officers this week for the ensuing year.
Mrs. Harry J. Myerson will be the new president of the National Council of Jewish Women, Chicago Section. Other new officers elected are Mrs. Harry A. Kahn, Mrs Mandel Schochet, Mrs. Samuel L. Herman and Mrs. Samuel Cohn.
Mrs. Philip L. Seman, wife of Dr. Philip L. Seman, general director of the Jewish People’s Institute of Chicago, will be president of the Chicago Women’s Aid for the next two years. Other officials include Mrs. Alvin Binswanger, Mrs. Jesse R. Gerstley, Mrs. Michael H. Weinberg, Mrs. Harry J. Lackritz, Mrs. Philip E. Ringer, Mrs. Herbert S. Eckhouse and Mrs. William H. Sahud.
