Two prominent Jewish figures have each raised $500,000 for the Democratic National Committee. David Steiner, former president of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee and vice-chair of the National Jewish Democratic Council, and S. Daniel Abraham, chairman of the Center for Middle East Peace, gave the money to the DNC, which has already collected $26 million as part of a gala tribute to President Clinton.
