Two rabbis will represent the Jews in a series of eight interdenominational vespers to be held at the Community Church, 550 West 110th street, under the auspices of the World Fellowship of Faiths and the Community Church, it was announced by Kedarnath Das Gupta, general executive of the fellowship. Rabbi Israel Goldstein and Rabbi Alexander Lyons are the Jewish spiritual leaders who will take part in the series, which will begin today.
The opening sermon will be preached by Dr. John Haynes Holmes. Other representatives include Christians of various sects, Baha’ists, Buddists, Ethical Culturists, Hindus, Mohammedans, Ne Thinkers, Sikhs and Zoroastrans.
