A synagogue in Padua was smeared with swastikas and anti-Jewish invectives on Yom Kippur, it was reported today.
The walls of a synagogue in the south Tyrolean town of Meran, Austria, were damaged by unknown vandals during Yom Kippur, according to reports reaching here. The damage recalled similar vandalism which took place last year in the same synagogue premises.
