Two synagogues and a Jewish youth center were among four buildings defaced and damaged by vandals last night in Norwalk and in nearby Westport.
Four of the buildings here found smeared with the Communist hammer and-sickle were Temple Beth-El, the Norwalk Jewish Youth Center, the David Katz real estate firm and the building of the Norwalk Planning Commission. In Westport, three windows of Temple Israel were smashed and the doors of the building were smeared with the hammer-and-sickle.
