Two terrorists planning an attack inside Israel were killed in a clash Monday in southern Lebanon.
They are believed to have been attempting to infiltrate into Israel when they tried to ambush a South Lebanon Army patrol.
The patrol spotted a cache of explosives on a roadside near a-Shiya village. As it approached, it came under fire from a concealed position.
The soldiers returned the fire, killing two of the assailants. There were no SLA casualties.
