Speakers at the meeting included Lord Henry Melchett, who presided; Prof. Selig Brodetsky, president of the Board of Deputies of British Jews and Arthur Greenwood, British Labor Party leader. Messages were received from Prime Minister Jan Smuts, of the Union of South Africa; Sir Archibald Sinclair; Viscount Cecil; and other leading British statesmen and Jewish figures.
