H. Hoefle, one of the top Gestapo officials responsible for the liquidation of the Jewish communities of Lublin and Warsaw, will soon be extradited to Poland from Austria, it was reported here today.
A notorious Nazi hangman responsible for the murder of untold numbers of Jews in Bialystok, known only as “Friedel,” has been extradited to this country from Germany by American Military Government authorities. He is at present awaiting trial, which probably will take place in Bialystok.
