All hope has been abandoned of finding the Israeli cargo plane which disappeared after taking off from the Goose Bay Airport, in Labrador, en route to Israel, it was reported here today.
The plane, piloted by a crew of two Americans, is believed to have crashed near an Eskimo village some 125 miles northwest of the air base at Goose Bay. No trace of the missing plane or its crew has been found in the two weeks since it disappeared.
