Two Argentine Jewish writers were today awarded prizes equivalent to $250 each by the Buenos Aires Jewish Community Council for works written in the past year. Luis Karduner won first prize in the Spanish division for his play “David and Bathsheba,” while Kehos Kliger received the first prize in the Yiddish division for his volume of poetry entitled “Love Letters to Frumet.” No award in the Hebrew division was made this year.
