Two youths were brought in for questioning in connection with the recent desecration of a Jewish cemetery in eastern France. The boys, 12 and 14, confessed to the crimes and said they acted out of stupidity, Sarreguemines’ district attorney said. The boys admitted to turning over 64 headstones in the Sarreguemines cemetery and partially opening one grave on May 8.
