The United Jewish Appeal’s “crisis mission” departed from here today for the United States after a week-long survey of Israel needs. The 12-man delegation is expected to arrive in the United States tomorrow.
Before leaving here, the delegation stated that it was prepared to recommend to American Jewry that a financial drive with an even higher goal than in the last two years be undertaken by the U.J.A. in 1950. The goal for both these years was $250,000,000.
