The United Jewish Appeal delegation of thirty-eight American Jewish leaders on a survey of conditions in Europe and Palestine arrived here today and set out at once to visit ten training centers for Jewish refugees at Ostia, near here.
The delegation arrived in Italy yesterday and visited the Ciari transit camp near Milan where 1,200 Jewish refugees are maintained solely by the Joint Distribution Committee. The refugees receive no assistance from the International Refugee Organization.
