Thirty-seven members of a 45-man United Jewish Appeal delegation arrived here today from New York end were presented with flowers at the airport by two Jewish orphans residing in a Joint Distribution Committee institution here.
Julian Venezky, national U.J.A. chairman for regions and spokesman for the delegation, said that the delegates plan to see for themselves–and report to the American Jewish community on their return–the needs of Jewish displaced persons in ?rope and the present situation in Israel. The delegates will be received by French president Vincent Auriol tomorrow and will present him with a scroll. They expect to depart for Marseilles in two days.
