A national conference of the United Jewish Appeal will be called for October 27-28 in an effort to mobilize the largest possible cash sums for Israel before the end of the year, it was announced here today. The conference will take place in New York.
The announcement was made following a conference here of U.J.A. leaders and top officials of the Israel Government, including Premier David Ben Gurion. The U.J.A. delegation is headed by Edward M.M. Warburg, general chairman of the U.J.A.
